Anthem $300 Internet Credit and Laptop: Reentry Benefit

Who this benefit is for

Anthem's $300 internet credit and laptop are a reentry benefit. To qualify you must:

  • have been released from incarceration within the past 12 months, and
  • complete a wellness visit.

The laptop is one per lifetime.

What does not qualify

There is no housing-instability pathway into this benefit. If you need internet or a device and this benefit does not fit your situation, a navigator can look for other local programs with you.

Note on the federal ACP

The federal Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) ended on June 1, 2024 and is no longer an option.

How to ask for it

Call Anthem member services, say you are asking about the reentry internet and device benefit, and ask what proof of release date they need.
