Hearing aids

Real 2026 Nevada plans run $400 to $1,970 per aid, or a $1,500 total allowance, and these allowances generally renew annually.

We previously said "up to $3,000 per ear every 2–3 years". That was wrong in both amount and cycle, and it has been corrected.

Dental

Nevada plans express dental as an annual allowance, and the real spread is preventive-only, $500, $1,500 and $2,500. Our previous "$1,000 to $3,000" range set the floor too high — plenty of plans cover preventive care only.

We have also removed the per-service copay bands we used to publish for fillings, extractions, root canals and crowns. Plans do not generally present dental that way, and those figures were not sourced.

What we removed

• The "$3,100–$9,100 annual savings" figure — it was calculated from the two unsupported numbers above, so it cannot stand.
• The named Las Vegas dental providers. We cannot confirm which plan networks they participate in, and sending you to an out-of-network office would cost you money.

Vision

Most plans cover a routine eye exam plus an eyewear allowance. Amounts differ by plan; check your Evidence of Coverage.

How to check what you actually have

Look up the dental allowance, the hearing aid allowance and the eyewear allowance in your plan's Evidence of Coverage, then confirm the provider is in network before the appointment.
