Free Medical Transportation for Medicare Members in Las Vegas & Southern Nevada

Missing medical appointments is one of the biggest health risks for seniors. If you're a Medicare Advantage member in Las Vegas, Henderson, or Southern Nevada, your plan likely includes free non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) — and most members don't even know it.

What Is Medicare Non-Emergency Medical Transportation?

NEMT is a benefit included with most Medicare Advantage plans that provides free rides to and from medical appointments. No car? No family member available? No problem — your Medicare plan has you covered.

Why Transportation Matters for Las Vegas Seniors

The Problem:

  • 3.6 million Americans miss medical appointments each year due to lack of transportation
  • In Las Vegas, public transit coverage is limited outside the Strip corridor
  • Summer temperatures of 110°F+ make walking dangerous for seniors
  • Many seniors no longer drive safely

The Solution:

Medicare NEMT helps seniors:

  • Keep regular doctor appointments — preventing small problems from becoming emergencies
  • Access dialysis and cancer treatment — life-sustaining care
  • Pick up prescriptions — medication adherence improves health outcomes
  • Maintain independence — live at home without relying on family for every trip

Las Vegas Area Coverage

Medicare NEMT serves all of Southern Nevada:

  • Las Vegas — all zip codes
  • Henderson — Green Valley, Anthem, Inspirada
  • North Las Vegas — Aliante, Elkhorn, Craig Ranch
