Frequently asked questions

How do I activate my healthy rewards?+

Log into your plan's member portal or app (Anthem MyAccount, Molina MyHealthConnections, SilverSummit My Health Pays, CareSource MyLife) and complete the eligible activities. Rewards load automatically onto a prepaid card after your doctor files the claim.

How long until I see my reward card?+

Most payouts arrive 4–8 weeks after the visit. Wellness checkups take the longest because your plan needs the doctor's claim first.

Can I stack rewards if I switched plans this year?+

You can only earn from your current plan. If you switched from Molina to Anthem mid-year, prior rewards don't carry over — but your new plan starts you at zero with a fresh allowance.

Where can I spend the reward cards?+

Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, and Dollar General are common. SilverSummit also lets you use rewards for rent, utilities, and transportation. Anthem allows grocery use. Check each plan's specific rules.

Do I pay taxes on the rewards?+

No. Medicaid healthy rewards are not taxable income under IRS rules.
