What is rewarded

Who can actually reach $60

The "up to $60" figure requires a female member aged 40 or older completing all three screenings. Two of the three screenings do not apply to men, so a male member can earn at most $15 — the colorectal screening reward.

We are saying this plainly because the headline figure was unreachable for half of our readers without it.

Worth doing regardless of the reward

Colorectal screening now often starts at 45 and can be done with a kit at home. Ask your provider which screenings are due for you.

How CareSource pays you

Rewards are paid as retailer gift cards — Walmart, Old Navy and TJ Maxx — not as cash and not as a credit you can withdraw. Gift cards cannot be used for alcohol, tobacco or firearms.

Expiration

Rewards expire in mid-December of the following year, and your access to the rewards portal ends if you are disenrolled from CareSource. Redeem what you have earned rather than letting it sit.
