The benefit

Eligible HPN members can get a YMCA Family Plan membership — a family membership, so it covers more than just you. This one is genuine and worth asking about.

What we removed

  • Planet Fitness and community recreation centres. HPN names only the YMCA, so we should not have implied you could use the benefit elsewhere.
  • The comparison claiming Molina provides free 12-month YMCA access. That benefit does not exist — Molina offers a $100 fitness allowance — and we corrected the Molina page in our previous pass.

Before you sign anything at a gym, confirm with HPN and the YMCA branch that your membership is active and what it includes.

Important: HPN's Medicaid service area changed on 1 January 2026

As of 1 January 2026, Health Plan of Nevada's Medicaid service area is urban Clark County only. Members in Washoe County and rural Clark County moved to CareSource. If you live in one of those areas, the benefits on this page are probably no longer yours — check which plan you are in now before you rely on anything here.
