The CDC recommends getting vaccinated by the end of October, before flu season peaks. SilverSummit covers flu shots at no cost at your doctor's office, urgent care clinics, and most pharmacies including CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart. No appointment is usually needed at pharmacies — just bring your insurance card.
